Vocabulary

Vocabulary is an essential skill for comprehending text. This quarter, your child will receive 5 vocabulary words each week. We will extensively go over the meanings in class and use the words frequently each day. On Friday, your child will take a multiple-choice quiz on the words. He/She will need to know the definition of each word as well as how to correctly use the word in a sentence. Below are the vocabulary words for each week. See sample quiz at the bottom.
